§ 26-46. Resignation by fiduciary of his trust
Any personal representative, guardian, conservator or committee may be allowed by the court in which or before the clerk of which he qualified to resign his trust after his accounts as such fiduciary have been stated and settled in the mode prescribed by law; but such resignation shall not invalidate any act done or affect any liability incurred by him while holding such trust.
