§ 46.2-1504. Board's powers with respect to hearings under this chapter
The Board may, in hearings arising under this chapter, except as provided for in Article 7 (§ 46.2-1566 et seq.), determine the place in the Commonwealth where they shall be held; subpoena witnesses; take depositions of witnesses residing outside the Commonwealth in the manner provided for in civil actions in courts of record; pay these witnesses the fees and mileage for their attendance as is provided for witnesses in civil actions in courts of record; and administer oaths.
