§ 46.2-416.1. Suspension for failure to comply with traffic citation issued under federal law
On receipt of a notice from a United States District Court in Virginia that a person licensed to drive in Virginia has failed to comply with a traffic citation issued under the laws of the United States for a violation occurring in Virginia, the Commissioner may suspend the driving privileges of such person, if the person has been provided written notice mailed to his last known address that his license or privilege to drive a motor vehicle in Virginia will be suspended if he has not complied with the terms of the citation within ten days, and if the person has not so complied.
