§ 56-476.1. Gratuitous undertaking to sound fire alarms
Where any telegraph company has assumed, without compensation, the undertaking to sound any fire alarm, in cooperation with the governing body of any town, city or county or the fire department thereof, such company shall not be liable in any proceeding growing out of the performance or nonperformance of such undertaking.
