§ 59.1-124. Penalty for violation

Any violation of this article shall be a misdemeanor. For the first offense the penalty shall be a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $100, and for any second or subsequent offense, a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $500 and confinement in jail for a period not exceeding twelve months.
