§ 65.2-1308. Privileged communications
The provisions of Chapter 37 (§ 2.2-3700 et seq.) of Title 2.2 shall not be applicable to the Statewide Coordinating Committee or any regional peer review committee. The proceedings, minutes, records and reports of the Statewide Coordinating Committee and each regional peer review committee, together with all communications, both oral and written, originating in or provided to any such committees are privileged communications which shall not be disclosed or obtained by legal discovery proceedings unless a circuit court, after a hearing and for good cause arising from extraordinary circumstances being shown, orders the disclosure of such proceedings, minutes, records, reports or communications.
