§ 26.21A.145. Continuing, exclusive jurisdiction over nonresident party
If a party to a proceeding subject to the continuing, exclusive jurisdiction of a tribunal of this state no longer resides in the issuing state, in subsequent proceedings the tribunal may receive evidence from another state pursuant to RCW 26.21A.275, to communicate with a tribunal of another state pursuant to RCW 26.21A.280, and obtain discovery through a tribunal of another state pursuant to RCW 26.21A.285. In all other respects, Articles 3 through 7 of this chapter do not apply and the tribunal shall apply the procedural and substantive law of this state.
