(a) In addition to all other costs and charges in circuit and district court cases in Macon County, a fee of three dollars ($3) shall be charged and collected by the clerk of the court. This charge shall not be collected on small claims cases. When collected by the clerk of the court, two dollars ($2) shall be remitted monthly to the Juvenile Court Services Fund and one dollar ($1) shall be remitted monthly to the Judicial Administration Fund.
(b) A monthly supervision fee may be assessed in juvenile court cases at the discretion of the juvenile court judge. The supervision fee shall be collected by the juvenile office and deposited in the Juvenile Court Services Fund.
(c) There is established a Juvenile Court Services Fund for the deposit of proceeds from two-thirds of the court costs imposed by subsection (a). The fund shall be maintained in an interest-bearing account in a bank of known responsibility under the supervision of the Juvenile Court Judge of Macon County.
(d) The funds appropriated from this fund shall be expended solely for juvenile programs and for subsistence for the juvenile court staff in the county, to aid the functions of the juvenile court, and for the benefit of the children of Macon County. The funds expended shall be authorized by the Juvenile Court Judge of Macon County.
(e) There is established a Judicial Administration Fund for the deposit of the proceeds from one-third of the court costs imposed by subsection (a). The fund shall be maintained in an interest-bearing account in a bank of known responsibility by the Presiding Circuit Court Judge for the Fifth Judicial Circuit.
(f) The funds appropriated from the Judicial Administration Fund shall be expended for increasing the efficiency of judicial administration in Macon County, to include, but not be limited to, training and education enhancement of judicial personnel and of juvenile court staff in Macon County. The funds expended shall be authorized by the Presiding Circuit Court Judge of the Fifth Judicial Circuit.
