Claims 11-17 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 112, first paragraph, as being based upon an original specification that does not provide descriptive support for the claim language "interpolymerizing ethylene with an alpha olefin CHR=CH wherein R is a saturated 2 aliphatic radical with 2 or more carbon atoms or a cycloaliphatic radical" (claim 11) and "interpolymerizing ethylene with styrene C H CH=CH " (claim 17). Claims 11-13 and 65 2 17 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 102(e) as being clearly anticipated by Vandenberg. Claims 14-16 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103 as being unpatentable over Vandenberg. Also, claims 11-17 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103 as being unpatentable over Anderson in view of Vandenberg. We will sustain the examiner's rejection of claims 11 and 17 under 35 U.S.C. § 112, first paragraph.
