The Garries patent discloses a ventilator system for a building attic. While the patentee in the preferred form of the invention provides a ventilator system at one or both ends of a roof gable, it is expressly indicated (column 4, lines 58 through 60) that the same principles are equally applicable to cupolas and ridge vent type ventilator systems used to vent the ridgeline of a roof.
