Appeal No. 96-4194 Application 08/239,732 After Final (paper number 8), claims 1 through 5, 12 and 15 through 18 were amended. As a result of this amendment, the examiner stated (paper number 9) that claims 2 through 5, 16 and 18 are allowed, and that claim 10 is objected to. Accordingly, claims 1, 7 through 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17 and 19 remain before us on appeal. The disclosed invention relates to a filter inspecting apparatus for inspecting generally tubular filters for holes. Claim 1 is illustrative of the claimed invention, and it reads as follows: 1.
