While Crosby teaches providing such an opening to receive a car seat belt between the baby's legs (col. 1, lines 30 to 32), the opening would be unnecessary in the Miller/Ranalli combination because, as discussed in connection with rejection (1), there would be an aperture in the compartment for that purpose.
