The Senior party argues that the conception document is far too general to constitute a conception of the invention defined by the count but rather at most indicates an avenue of potential research. We do not agree with the Senior party. The Christ Notebook (Christ Exhibit 5) indicates that one of the methods to improve the bond between elastomeric silicone and embedded haptic materials was plasma treatment of the anchor region. It also states that pretreatment of the polypropylene region would directly precede the silicone bonding and that this pretreatment should be by plasma. These laboratory entries are dated from January 1985 through June 1985.
