               Representative independent claim 1 is reproduced as                    
          follows:                                                                    
               1.  In an electric motor, in which a rotating magnetic                 
          flux causes vibration in another component, the improvement                 
          comprising:                                                                 
                                                                                     
               a) a conductive ring, near the component, in which                     
          rotating flux induces a time-varying current.

          adding Simpson, in a new ground of rejection entered in the                 
          answer, with regard to claims 7 and 13 through 15.
