Appeal No. 1998-1288 Application No. 08/502,817 Zansky and Cox references which would have suggested to the artisan that the series combination of the inductor and the capacitor of Zansky should be naturally resonant at a frequency lower than the fundamental frequency of the alternating voltage. Cates and Warren do not overcome this deficiency in the basic combination of references.
