Appeal No. 1999-1663 Application No. 08/715,221 Rather than reiterate the conflicting viewpoints advanced by the examiner and the appellant regarding the above-noted rejections, we make reference to the examiner’s answer (Paper No. 25, mailed January 20, 1999) for the examiner's complete reasoning in support of the rejections, and to the appellants’ brief (Paper No. 23, filed November 12, 1998) and reply brief (Paper No. 26, filed March 22, 1999) for the appellants’ arguments thereagainst. The appellants submit (brief, page 9) that the claims on appeal do not stand or fall together. OPINION In reaching our decision in this appeal, we have carefully considered the subject matter on appeal, the rejections advanced by the examiner, and the evidence of obviousness relied upon by the examiner as support for the rejections.
