Appeal No. 1996-3706 Application 07/854,921 As to Appellant's assertion that there is no disclosure of independent and dependent variables or relationships between variables, the Examiner points to Conrad as showing data being displayed in many different13 forms, such as graphs and charts. The Examiner then alleges that graphs and charts are commonly known to display relationships between independent and dependent variables.
