Appeal No. 1997-2639 Application No. 08/237,129 Grounds of Rejection Claims 14-24 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103 as unpatentable for obviousness over Lind and Fohlman taken with Siigur and Banks, in further view of Lawman. We reverse and enter a new ground of rejection of claims 21 and 22 under 35 U.S.C. § 102/103, pursuant to the provisions of 37 CFR § 1.196(b). DECISION ON APPEAL In reaching our decision in this appeal, we have given consideration to the appellants’ specification and claims, to the applied prior art references, and to the respective positions articulated by the appellant and the examiner. Rather than reiterate the conflicting viewpoints advanced by the examiner and the appellant regarding the above-noted rejections, we make reference to the examiner's Answer and Supplemental Answer for the examiner's reasoning in support of the rejection, and to the appellant’s Brief and Reply Brief for the appellant’s arguments thereagainst.
