the order of the signals is sufficient to meet the broad requirements of the “signal
processing circuit” of instant claim 1.
Thus, we find the only difference between instant claim 1 and the disclosure of
Rantasuo to be that Rantasuo discloses a single infrared color filter element that performs
the associated function set forth in claim 1, and which is positioned over the image
sensing elements of the solid state image sensor, rather than a plurality of such elements.
Absent suggestion in either of Rantasuo or Dillon to make such a modification, however,
the references before us do not establish a prima facie case of obviousness for the subject
matter as a whole of instant claim 1.
