OPINION Anticipation "Anticipation is established only when a single prior art reference discloses, expressly or under principles of inherency, each and every element of a claimed invention." RCA Corp. v. Applied Digital Data Systems, Inc., 730 F.2d 1440, 1444, 221 USPQ 385, 388 (Fed. Cir. 1984). Claims 1, 3, and 6 Appellant argues that claim 1 is not anticipated because the APA does not teach the claimed configuration that "said switch and said buzzer are coupled between said output terminal and ground." The Examiner finds (FR8): "The buzzer 26 is coupled between the output terminal (through EL lamp 12 and the supply voltage) and ground (through switch 25 and transistor 22)."
