DECISION ON APPEAL
This is an appeal from the final rejection of claims
1 through 4 and 11 through 20. Claim 5 is objected to as being
dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if
rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of
the base claim and any intervening claims.
The disclosed invention relates to a thin-film magnetic head
having a magnetic layer structure arranged on one of two parallel
sides of a semiconductor substrate, and an integrated circuit
