                                       OPINION                                        

               In rejecting claims under 35 U.S.C. 103, the initial burden            
          is on the examiner to establish a prima facie case of                       
          obviousness.                                                                
               In the instant case, the examiner applies Halvorson to teach           
          the claimed subject matter but for processing the transactional             
          information in the archival database and generating at least one            
          report for receiving the transactional information from the                 
          centralized archive and for processing it; transferring the                 
          transactional information in the centralized archival database;             
          detecting patterns and abnormalities in distribution and usage;             
          using a programmed processing unit to detect the patterns and               
          abnormalities and generating at least one report for a defined              
          period of time; processing the transactional information in the             
          database so as to generate a report; the client analyzer module             
          comprising means for processing the transactional data received             
          from the client profile module to identify discrepancies; the               
          processing step comprising adjusting the transactional                      
          information data so as to group stations of like providers; the             
          processing step further comprising grouping the data source                 
          stations by patient care unit; grouping the transactional
