infected host.
3. A method of interfering with HBV production in a HBV
infected host comprising the administration of an effective HBV
production interfering amount of the compound 1-(2
hydroxymethyl)-1,3-oxathiolan-5-yl)-5-methylcytosine to said
HBV infected host.
