                 prevent the high frequency power from affecting the telephone equipment.  Only                      
                 one node needs to be connected to an external power source, the other nodes                         
                 receive power from the node connected to the system power, see appellant’s                          
                 specification page 5, lines 3-10.                                                                   
                        Claim 10 is representative of the invention.                                                 
                        10. A computer network comprising:                                                           
                              a plurality of nodes;                                                                  
                              telephone wires connecting said nodes into a computer                                  
                        network;                                                                                     
                              a high frequency power supply connected to said telephone                              
                        wires;                                                                                       
                              a filter arranged to isolate the high frequency power supply                           
                        from the telephone service; and                                                              
                              only one of said nodes coupled to a power supply, said other                           
                        nodes receiving power over said telephone wires.
