Appeal No. 2004-0975 Application No. 09/793,595 From our study of the claims on appeal within 37 CFR § 41.50 we reject claims 19 and 22 under 35 U.S.C. § 112, second paragraph. These claims are essentially incomplete and/or misdescriptive. Inasmuch as claim 22 depends from claim 11, claim 22 should recite that the display output consists of the display output from directly underneath the display of said portable computer when the display screen of said portable computer is placed over the display screen of the first computer. To be consistent with the other independent claims on appeal and the disclosed invention, this is the proper, complete manner in which to recite this feature intended to be set forth in claim 22. Compare the recitation in dependent claim 24 which depends from independent claim 23. As to independent claim 19, there is no antecedent basis within the claim of “said second computer” which is recited at least three times in this claim in clause b thereof. This only indicates a feature of an absent but clearly implied first computer. The feature of redirecting at the end of claim 19 does not recite to which item recited the information is to be redirected to.
