DECISION ON APPEAL
A patent examiner rejected claims 34-43. The appellants appeal therefrom under
35 U.S.C. § 134(a). We reverse.
BACKGROUND
The invention at issue on appeal controls a cursor. In many applications, a user
employs a cursor to interact with a data processing system. More specifically, he
changes the position of the cursor on a display by manipulating a "user-interface
means, e.g., a maneuvering device." (Spec. at 1.) Heretofore, the appellants have
