              In view of the above, we determine that both the                      
         anticipation and obviousness rejections are well-founded.                  
         We need not discuss the other references of Rinkinen                       
         and Brunel in making this determination.                                   

                                  Conclusion                                        
              Each of the rejections is affirmed.                                   
              No time period for taking any subsequent action in                    
         connection with this appeal may be extended under 37 CFR                   
         § 1.136(a)(1)(iv)(effective September 13, 2004; 69 Fed.
