          DECISION ON APPEAL                                                          
               Walter Wohlrab appeals from the final rejection of claims 1            
          through 9, all of the claims pending in the application.                    
                                    THE INVENTION                                     
               The invention relates to “an injection molding machine of a            
          type having a stationary platen and a movable platen connected to           
          one another in a tension-proof manner by at least one tie bar,              
          and more particularly to a traction transmitting securing                   
          mechanism . . . having a securing element connected form-                   
          fittingly with the tie bar” (specification, page 1).
