Appeal No. 2006-0970 Application No. 10/293,826 BACKGROUND The appellant's invention relates to a device for lifting users by use of an electric force between capacitive plates. An understanding of the invention can be derived from a reading of exemplary claim 1, which is reproduced below. 1. An apparatus, comprising: an electric-energy lifting panel including a first capacitive plate and a second capacitive plate having different geometric dimensions to generate a net-directional force, the electric-energy lifting panel to levitate a user secured to the electric-energy lifting panel; and an ion conditioner to ion enhance air around the first capacitive plate and the second capacitive plate.
