DECISION ON APPEAL
This is a decision on the appeal under 35 U.S.C. § 134 from the
examiner’s rejection of claims 1, 2, and 4-27, which constitute all the claims
pending in this application.
The disclosed invention pertains to a system and method for canceling
echo in communications systems that adapts to double-talk and channel impulse
response changes to improve the quality of communications signals.
Specifically, the system comprises a non-adaptive filter and an adaptive filter that
