The claimed invention relates to a portable telephone terminal device which can receive an international roaming service when a user is away from a country or district in which a contract for telephone service has been established. The portable telephone terminal device includes stored emergency information in the form of telephone numbers of facilities such as a police station, fire department, an embassy, and medical facilities in a country or district in which the user is roaming.
