mannitol, sorbitol, erythritol, glucose, fructose, lactose, erythritol-1,4-
anhdride, and mixtures thereof;
(g) from about 0.1% to about 2% by weight, an oxygen bleach
resistant α-amylase enzyme; and
(h) from about 5% to about 80% water,
wherein the oxygen bleach resistant α-amylase enzyme does not comprise
Termamyl alpha amylase enzyme. 1

The rejections as presented by the Examiner are as follows:
1. Claims 1-4 and 6-13 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a) as
unpatentable over Offshack.
2. Claims 1-4 and 6-13 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a) as
unpatentable over Panandiker.
3. Claims 1-4 and 6-13 are rejected under 35 U.S.C § 103(a) as
unpatentable over Severson, Jr.
Rather than reiterate the respective positions advocated by the Appellants
and by the Examiner concerning these rejections, we refer to the Brief and
