Appeal 2006-2589 Application 10/618,499 § 103(a) as obvious over the combined teachings of Diehr and Mente is affirmed. As a final point with respect to the § 103 rejections, we note that Appellants base no argument upon objective evidence of nonobviousness, such as unexpected results. ORDER The rejection of claims 1-15, 17-34, 37-39, and 41 under 35 U.S.C. § 112, first paragraph is reversed. The rejection of claims 1-15, 17-34, 37-39, and 41 under 35 USC §103 (a) is affirmed. No time period for taking any subsequent action in connection with this appeal may be extended under 37 C.F.R. § 1.136(a)(1)(iv).
