         Appeal No. 2006-3181
         Application No. 10/253,442
After reviewing the Cox reference in light of the arguments of
record, we are in general agreement with Appellants’ position as
         stated in the Briefs.
We agree with Appellants (Brief, pages 5 and 6; Reply Brief,
pages 2 and 3) that Cox has no disclosure of any direct contact
between the outwardly projecting wall portions 26 of the shell
housing and the lateral edges of the carrier structure 12 which
would establish a ground connection between the shell and carrier
structure as claimed. We find no support in the disclosure of
Cox which would support the Examiner’s conclusion that the
illustration in Cox’s Figure 3 represents an unassembled
structure which, when assembled, provides a direct connection and
grounding relationship between the shell and the carrier
         structure.
Although the Examiner cites the passage at column 3, lines
52-57 of Cox which discusses the shielding properties of the
shell housing, we simply find no support for the Examiner’s
position that a direct connection and electrical connection takes
place with the carrier structure. To the contrary, there is no
discussion of electrical grounding anywhere in Cox and, further,

                                         5
