Appeal No. 2006-3181 Application No. 10/253,442 After reviewing the Cox reference in light of the arguments of record, we are in general agreement with Appellants’ position as stated in the Briefs. We agree with Appellants (Brief, pages 5 and 6; Reply Brief, pages 2 and 3) that Cox has no disclosure of any direct contact between the outwardly projecting wall portions 26 of the shell housing and the lateral edges of the carrier structure 12 which would establish a ground connection between the shell and carrier structure as claimed. We find no support in the disclosure of Cox which would support the Examiner’s conclusion that the illustration in Cox’s Figure 3 represents an unassembled structure which, when assembled, provides a direct connection and grounding relationship between the shell and the carrier structure. Although the Examiner cites the passage at column 3, lines 52-57 of Cox which discusses the shielding properties of the shell housing, we simply find no support for the Examiner’s position that a direct connection and electrical connection takes place with the carrier structure.
