           1           The term stress incontinence refers to a sudden loss of urine, which is                   
           2    caused by incompetence of the bladder outlet during unobtrusive movement                         
           3    of the bladder as a result of interabdominal increases in pressure due, inter                    
           4    alia, to coughing, pressing, sneezing and heavy lifting.  Publication, ¶ 0003.                   
           5           Among the preferred compounds for Esser's purpose are imidazolines                        
           6    of the general formula:
