            moving the working rolls in the horizontal direction for adjusting the gap width of              
            the rolling gap.  It is the combined teachings of Nakajima, Yasuda and Fischer,                  
            rather than the individual teachings of each reference, on which the rejection is                
            based.                                                                                           
                   In view of the foregoing, we will sustain the rejection of the Examiner.  The             
            decision of the Examiner is affirmed.                                                            
                   No time period for taking any subsequent action in connection with                        
            this appeal may be extended under 37 C.F.R. § 1.136(a).  See 37 C.F.R.                           
            § 1.136(a)(1)(iv) (2006).
