Appeal Number: 2007-0126 Application Number: 09/970,910 BACKGROUND The appellants’ invention relates to public-facility electronic ticket control systems and, more specifically, to a system and method for permitting the exchange of electronic tickets between patrons of the facility using virtual ticket devices. (Spec. 3). An understanding of the invention can be derived from a reading of exemplary claim 1, which is reproduced below. 1.
