DECISION ON APPEAL
This is a decision on appeal from the Examiner’s final rejection of
claims 1-9. We have jurisdiction under 35 U.S.C. § 6(b). We affirm.
STATEMENT OF THE CASE
“The invention concerns cosmetic compositions containing
ammonium malonates which combat the signs of skin aging” (Specification
¶ 1). The malonates are “based on malonic acid neutralized with an amine
