Appeal 2007-1693 Application 10/343,523 decision and those presented by the Examiner, we uphold the Examiner's rejection. II. Claims 1-5 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a) as obvious over Rehmer in view of Asakura. The Examiner cites the Asakura for teaching mercapto group containing photoinitiators that correspond to the formula (I) (Answer 5). Appellants do not contest the Examiner's reasons for citing the Asakura reference. Rather, Appellants state “[t]herefore, no combination of Rehmer and WO ‘961 [Asakura] could ever lead to Appellants’ novel process.” (Br. 5). Appellants’ arguments are not persuasive for the reasons set forth above and in the Answer. ORDER The rejections of claim 1-5 under 35 U.S.C. § 103 (a) are affirmed. No time period for taking any subsequent action in connection with this appeal may be extended under 37 C.F.R. §1.136(a) (1) (iv).
