JP 442 describes various plants, including mangosteen pericarp, as 11 being “used since ancient times as a food material, an herb tea or a natural 12 additive” (6 ¶ 8). 13 21. JP 442 describes food products for preventing Legionella bacteria 14 infection including at least 0.001% of additives including mangosteen 15 pericarp. (7, ¶12). 16 22. JP 442 describes a drink, in Example 6, which includes an extract of 17 mangosteen pericarp, orange juice, and water.
