According to Kobe, the fastener system shown in Figure 4 comprises: a first tape 53 having a fastening layer 12, an optional backing layer 31, a mounting layer 17, and an optional removable liner 56; and a second tape 60 having corresponding layers (a second removable liner may be applied at surface 63). Kobe teaches further that the backing layer 31 can be any material that provides the desired adhesion to and material compatibility with fastening layer 12 and mounting layer 17.
