A robotic pen comprising: 2 a computer numerically controlled machine including a stage 3 for mounting a workpiece for rotation and orthogonal translation, the 4 said stage permitting translation generally in a plane and rotation 5 about an axis generally parallel to said plane, and an elevator for 6 translation from said stage; 7 a pen tip rotatably mounted to said elevator; 8 a dispenser joined in flow communication with said pen tip for 9 ejecting a stream of material atop said workpiece. 10 24.
