Appeal 2007-3669 Application 10/831,671 solely upon this evidence. The Declarant has not indicated that a shadow mask comprising multiple aperture patterns was unknown prior to this invention. The Declarant also has not indicated that a person of ordinary skill in the art would not have recognized that a shadow mask may comprise multiple shadow mask sections, each including at least one aperture pattern for annealing underlying regions of a substrate and at least one substrate alignment aperture. In conclusion, based on the foregoing and the reasons well stated by the Examiner, the Examiner’s decision rejecting the appealed claims 23-34 is affirmed.
