            Appeal 2007-1719
            Application 10/655,483
crop dividers 12, 14 and are independently adjustable both in their
relative width and height (Greiner, col. 3, ll. 37-41).
               4. Greiner discloses that the crop guide members 38 of the crop guide
apparatus 22 are pivotable in a first vertical direction (shown by arrow 36
in Fig. 6) and in a second horizontal direction (shown by arrow 37 in Fig.
4), where the first and second directions are substantially perpendicular
to each other (Greiner, col. 2, ll. 31-42).
               5. Even when pivoted between a wider or narrower position, crop dividers
12, 14 remain in a forward projecting operating position (Greiner, Figs. 1
and 2). Similarly, even when pivoted between a wider or narrower
position or between a higher or lower position, crop guide members 38
remain in a forward projecting operating position (Greiner, Figs. 3-7).
As such, Greiner does not teach or suggest moving either crop dividers
12, 14 or crop guide members 38 to a retracted transport position.
               6. Greiner discloses that its crop guide means 38 is connected at one end 40
to bracket means 34 (Greiner, col. 2, ll. 38-39, Fig. 3).
               7. Greiner further discloses that its crop guide apparatus 22 includes first
and second support posts 24, each of which has a slotted flange 30
connected at one end 32 thereof (Greiner, col. 2, ll. 23-31, Fig. 4).
