Criminal history check; fees
Sec. 11. (a) All licensed firearms dealers shall collect a fee of
three dollars ($3) for every transaction for which a criminal history
check is required under this chapter. The fee must be transferred to
the state police department before the last day of the month following
the sale.
(b) The state police department shall deposit the fees received
under this section in a special fund for use in offsetting the cost of
conducting criminal history checks under this chapter.
