Postconviction petitioner for habeas corpus: Release pending appeal. If a district court denies a postconviction petition for habeas corpus, the petitioner must not be released on his own recognizance or admitted to bail pending any appeal. If the petition is granted and a stay of the order granting relief is not entered, the district court shall admit the petitioner to bail pending appeal if the respondent files a notice of appeal.
