New York Labor Law Section 282 - Gas jets and other lights.

  282.  Gas  jets  and other lights. All gas jets and other lights in
  factories shall be properly enclosed by globes or wire cages or shall be
  otherwise properly protected in a manner approved in  the  city  of  New
  York  by  the  fire  commissioner  of  such  city  and  elsewhere by the
  commissioner.
