* 1020-w. Audit and annual reports. The accounts of the authority shall be subject to the supervision of the state comptroller and an annual audit shall be performed by an independent certified accountant selected by the authority, upon recommendation of its finance and audit committee. The authority shall submit annually to the governor, the state comptroller, the temporary president of the senate, the speaker of the assembly and the county executives and governing bodies of the counties of Suffolk and Nassau, a detailed report pursuant to the provisions of section two thousand eight hundred of this chapter, which report shall be verified by the chairman of the authority. The authority shall comply with the provisions of sections two thousand eight hundred one, two thousand eight hundred two and two thousand eight hundred three of this chapter.
