Oregon Statutes - Chapter 173 - Legislative Service Agencies - Section 173.750 - Effect of expiration of terms of committee members.

The expiration of the terms of members of the Legislative Administration Committee upon the convening of the Legislative Assembly in regular session next following the commencement of their terms, as provided in ORS 173.730, does not affect the employment of any individual filling a position previously approved by the committee. After the convening of the Legislative Assembly in regular session and until such time as the newly appointed committee provides otherwise, the Legislative Administrator may employ and fix the compensation of individuals the Legislative Administrator deems necessary for the effective conduct of the work under the charge of the Legislative Administrator.
