Oregon Statutes - Chapter 223 - Local Improvements and Works Generally - Section 223.851 - Special assessment for street lighting, street maintenance and street cleaning; approval by electors.

When authorized at any properly called election, the governing body of a city may assess, levy and collect annual assessments upon any real property within its boundaries for street lighting, street maintenance and street cleaning services which benefit the property. [1983 c.234 §2]
